Design should be barrier free.
In 2019 Dr Glenville Liburd created the Nevis Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Advocates with the motto “Transforming lives through inclusion and participation.” This project reflects on the motto and consider how universal design can be applied to retrofit existing and historically built environments in St Kitts & Nevis, without disturbing the integrity and external features of the structures.
